WHATDAYAH MEAN WE ARE TRAVELING AGAIN?????

We just got home 3 weeks ago-and mom said we are off again.  This time, to the University of Freedom, in New York.  Hmmmm-wonder what THAT is??  Do they have soft beds????

We don't have good connections with the Internet, so I can't get all my good comments posted after my pictures.  I'll try and give a running commentary for you.  The first picture is in Virginia.  FINALLY some R&R time for me with a good stick.  Below-in the valley-is a sheep farm, and a VERY old rooster, that crows with a scratchy throat all day!!.  Next picture-is the 'Never Sink' River in New York.  Next picture-'What'??  Table is much more comfortable than the ground!!    Next 12 pictures is Acadia National Park  in Maine.  What a glorious place!!!  Lots of beaches, trails, places to sniff-I loved it there!!!  Next picture-Newick's Lobster Pound in New Hanpshire.  Mom and dad had a delicious lunch with old friends, while I hung out under the table, snoozing.  Last picture-is mom and me, hanging out at Johnny Rockett's at Lake George.  Next and last blog-FREEDOM GUIDE DOGS, NEW YORK!!

I had a great trip to CT.-got to play with all my furry friends, and meet some new ones.  I got drug all over the place,-in and out of houses, restaurants, hotels, cars, -you  name it, I was in it.  Got a good chance to play with my pal, Valley-but mom didn't take any pictures!!!!  I am 64 pounds, and almost 17 months old.  My mom said I am off to college soon!!!  Hmmmmm-wonder what that means?

Enjoying Life!

Well-this is embarrassing!!!  I can't BELIEVE how long it has been since my mom posted about my adventures!!!  Today-we were at a Nature Park, in the community that I live in,-and I flat told her she has to post about me,-or ELSE!!!  NO MORE SNUGGLING!!!  I'm a grown up dog now-getting ready for training.  We have this great park here,-that has all these agility things that I like to do.  I wasn't so good at them last year,-but now I am a whiz!!  I've grown up so much-and matured,-my mom is sad.  Not much bothers me-except I'm not crazy about ear cleaning, and brushing.  My dad uses one of those GSD undercoat rakes-and keeps forgetting I don't have that thick coat that they do, and it HURTS!!  Now-my mom does it-and she is MUCH more gentle.  Whew!!!  I've been pretty good-doing my skills, meeting lots of people and kids.  I'm not so excitable as I was when I was young,-and my mom loves that I don't pull her down the street. I've made a lot of friends,-and had a lot of adventures.  In 2 months, I am leaving to go into the Freedom University for further training.  It sounds like a lot of work-I prefer a more laid back atmosphere.  Wonder what all that will be about????

HOWEVER,-

She was LESS than amused at this~~~!!! Mom asked me just WHY I felt the need to 'help' her with this photo album??   I just figured there were a LOT of shepherds in the album, that needed editing.  Might I add-she spoke in a  rather stern voice!!!    She seemed less than pleased with me.  Can you believe that she raised her voice??  I was a tad offended!!

I only ate a few corners, -and 3 or 4 pictures.  Harumph!!!  She mumbled something about expecting this from her shepherds, but not from me!!!  It seenmed a good thing at the time!!!Add caption

This is a K-9 fair that I attended.  It was lots of fun, with lots of dogs and people.   I got lots of pets!!!

You just WON'T believe what happened to me today!!!

WHERE DID THEY GO???  I HAD 2 WHEN I WENT IN TO THE VET'S THIS MORNING, AND THEY WENT MISSING WHEN I LEFT!!!!  I don't know what is going on!!!  I've been looking for my 'boyz' everywhere!!!!  I was all happy when I went in to see my vet, and  my 2 'boyz'  were attached.   A nice lady came and got me, and all  I know, is I feel really funny,-and my 'boyz'  are GONE!!!  I'm so sad!!  I also have to wear this funky 'Bitenot' collar!!  What I REALLY want to know,-is why my 'Auntie Karen' didn't rescue me again!!!

LAST BLOG BEFORE I GET HOME TODAY!! THIS IS SANTEE, SOUTH CAROLINA! WATER PLAY TIME FOR ME!!! HURRAY!!!

This is a gorgeous beach, right where we were camped.  It was FILLED with shells of all kinds.

I finally got to go swimming again!!!  There were lots of sticks for me to chase-and I had SUCH a good time!!!

Sniffing all the good smells!!  I am only allowed to sniff on my Flexi lead,-that we use for play.  There were literally thousands of shells to check out.

 

Taking a rest on a big log with my dad, at the beach.  There was lots of driftwood around too.  Made the beach so interesting to explore.

Look carefully!!  There is a HUGE spider in the middle of a HUGE web!!!  My mom wouldn't go any closer to take a picture.  I thought it was  pretty cool!!  So did my dad,  Not so my mom!  She's not a fan of creepy critters!!!

So-o-o that's about it for now. folks!!  We arrive home in 2 1/2 hours,-and my mom said we have LOTS of work to do.  I don't think she means me--I'm going visiting to our neighbors.  I'm sure they have missed me a whole lot!!!

OK!!! NOW YOU'RE TALKING MY LANGUAGE!!!

Well-this isn't the order my mom posted these pics,-maybe because we are traveling, and bouncing all over in the  truck!!  Here I am at a wonderful pet playground, at our campsite in Gettysburg.  This is kind of like a stationary teeter totter.  I really liked running over it!

I'm not so crazy about this regular teeter totter!  It wouldn't stay still!

Nope!  I'm all done with the teeter-totter!  Not even for treats!

This is an overview of the Pet Playground.  There are lots of hanging baskets all around, with Impatiens and Begonias.

This is a pretty cool doghouse log cabin!!

This is like an A frame roof to climb on.  Hmm not sure I want to do this---It's a pretty red and yellow color, tho.

OK!  I'll give it a try!

Nah--!!  I'll just run around to the side, and get my treat that way!!  Why go to all the problem of CLIMBING when I can just walk around it!!
